    The professional …
The professional background required to provide it is also very different. For instance, I have a doctorate, two postdocs, and various certifications in psychology and neuroscienceWe do a psychological evaluation and design psych/neuropsych treatment that is tailored to each person. Hope that helps you understand the difference, and thanks for asking the question!

    BRAIN music therapy …
BRAIN music therapy is very different than traditional music therapy. Brain Music Therapy converts the actual EEG “music” your brain is making while it is relaxing and converts it to auditory frequency so you can hear how your own brain “sounds” as it relaxes. Research from different Universities in Europe and Canada has shown that it is equivalent to Ambien in helping you get to sleep, but without the side effects.

    Interesting, but …
Interesting, but I’m not so sure I would call this music therapy. Therapeutic music, yes. But a music therapist is a trained professional with a music therapy degree that uses preferably music along with planned interventions to achieve some goal. I’m not bashing this. It sounds like it could really help people. I just want people to understand the difference.
