Meditating - Works great if you have anxiety or chatter (endless talking in your mind).
Brain Entrancement - Best for people that suffer general insomnia, get poor quality sleep, or don’t know what their sleeping problem is. Can be used as a device for putting you to sleep and also to make your brain naturally fall asleep better when the time comes. Life Choices that make up 80% of most sleeping issues. This causes people to “not know” why they can’t fall asleep, or just not be able to fall asleep when they lie down at night.
Entering Creative State - Used by buddist meditation, this technique works to put you to sleep despite your sleeping problem.
Self-Hypnosis / Hypnosis - Works similiarly to meditation, but usually done by listening to a professional in person or via CD. Insomnia remedies llike this one work best for people that have anxiety.
Sleeping tablets - Aids to help you fall asleep, these are a great idea if you’re temporarily not able to fall asleep, like in the case of having an injury that keeps you awake.
Sleeping Pills - Some sleeping pills help you fall asleep, whereas others (mainly lunesta at the time of writing) help you sleep better all night long.
Acupressure / Acupuncture - This can help with generic insomnia issues, but I’d only recommend it for experts in acupressure or acupuncture.
Medical Marijuana - For all sleeping problems, this yields an exceptionally high success rate, if it’s a legal option for you.
Sleeping “Tips” that stimulate your mind into a tired state. These generally don’t help most people, but in your case, there might be one thing that stimulates sleep for you personally.
