With Insomnia Remedies, it’s IMPORTANT to identify *your* sleeping problem first.
Unless your know the source of your sleeping problem, it’s easy to use the wrong insomnia remedies and not even end up treating your problem.
Here’s some ideas to use as insomnia remedies and to help you see which remedies cure which problems:
Meditation - Excellent for dealing with anxiety or chatter (non-stop brain-talking). The more serious the meditation routine, the more effective.
Brain Entrancement - This is best for people who don’t know what their sleeping problem is or suffer from fragmented sleep. This trains you brain to naturally fall asleep when the time comes, and is also used to fall asleep.
Life Choices that make up 80% of most sleeping issues. Generally speaking, this explains why you can lay down at night, tired, and yet the sleep just doesn’t come.
Entering Creative State - Used by buddist meditation, this technique works to put you to sleep despite your sleeping problem.
Self-Hypnosis / Hypnosis - Very Similar to mediation. Usually done by listening to a professional on CD. Insomnia remedies like this work best if you suffer from anxiety.
Sleeping Tablets - If you can’t fall asleep because of a temporary problem, like in the case of having an injury that keeps you awake, these serve as great aids.
Sleeping Pills - Helpful to put you to sleep, but most aren’t always great at giving you a good rest. Lunesta is the best choice if you need help getting a quality sleep.
Acupressure / Acupuncture - Helpful in solving a variety of sleeping issues, but I’d only advise acupressure / acupuncture experts to try this.
Medical Marijuana - if this is allowed where you live, this solution is almost guaranteed to put you to sleep no matter what your sleeping problem is.
Sleeping “Tips” that stimulate your mind into a tired state. These usually don’t help most people, but in your case, it may be one thing that stimulates sleep for you personally. There have been cases where individuals need a glass of warm milk to fall asleep, or need to sniff cut up onions before being able to fall asleep. You can find tons of these by typing “sleep tips” into google. In general, these don’t make for very good insomnia remedies.
