Thinking about important stuff quite literally makes it impossible to fall asleep. There are two kinds of thinking - the kind that drift into sleep, or “tired thoughts”, and the kind that pump you up, or “wired thoughts”.
You probably have already experienced this, but… you’ll NEVER fall asleep to a wired thought.
First of all, I highly recommend you develope some kind of bed time routine. Spend time before going to bed doing things that help you relax, and don’t let yourself think of anything “wired”.

If the thinking starts as soon as you lay down, it could be that you have a habit of thinking about this stuff when you get in bed. This happens all the time. Whether you try the following things or not, APPLY THIS FROM NOW ON: As soon as you catch yourself thinking about important things, get out of bed, and finish off the thought with the lights on. As soon as you clear your mind, lay down again.
No longer allow your worry-prone thoughts exsist in your bed.
So how do you shut them off? Here’s a few things you can try:
- The most effective tool: this Buddhist Meditation CD.
This is by far the most effective product because it causes you to focus and think about the meditation, causing “tired thoughts”, and while you focus on tired things your body and mind are greatly relaxed by a strong meditation. Like the Buddhist CD, this will focus you on tired things, while greatly relaxing you hypnotically, for a very affordable cost.
